Responsibilities With your expert knowledge of Verizon solutions and a deep understanding of industry trends, you'll: Provide ongoing high quality customer support, analyzing customer needs and recommending innovative solutions Continuously seek out new growth opportunities within existing accounts and generate new sales leads Negotiate and close sales, including contract management and completion Provide follow-up training for new business customers Utilize sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools Generate forecasting and tracking reports Attend training to keep up with company products, market, and industry trends
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: A 2-year degree, or at least 4 years of relevant business experience in outside sales and account management Preferred Qualifications: A 4-year degree, 5+ years of outside sales and account management experience with an emphasis on major or national accounts, and a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas Additionally, the following skills and attributes will be integral to your success: Excellent communication and customer interaction skills, with professional experience hunting for new business, negotiating, and closing solutions-based sales Ability to navigate accounts and develop key partnerships within customer organizations A passion for technology Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Outgoing personality, resourceful, and motivated to learn
