Responsibilities:

TERRITORY: South Carolina and North Florida

As a Sales Professional, your primary responsibility will be to acquire new Print Services business in specific vertical market accounts and prospects within your assignment. Your job duties will include cold calling and prospecting for new business. You will be required to achieve your quota by consistently performing the required daily activities to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. You will also be responsible for completing customer needs analysis, identifying pressure/pain points for all accounts as well as doing proposals, web tool demonstrations, presentations and most importantly, closing business.

To establish the Office Depot Print Services brand and market share in select Vertical Market Segments, the Major Business Development Manager (MBDM) will solicit target organizations that have the spend level and product scope to require services that align with our print solutions, can enforce compliance, and see value in centralized vendor selection. The MBDM will serve as an initial single point of accountability that is empowered to deliver the full suite of Office Depot Print Services and Solutions.

It is also expected that the MBDM will work with multiple individuals with the authority to make the purchasing decision residing in multiple locations.

The MBDM will engage in customer relationships regardless of the prospects' contractual status and proactively create an awareness and presence with non-Office Depot customers.



Qualifications:

High school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred and minimum 7 years' experience in a related field.



Other Information:
  • Strong sales skillset.
  • Understanding of the customer relationship process, buying process and a demonstrated record of senior level customer contacts.
  • A thorough grasp of professional and consultative selling skills to include a history of successful contract negotiations. The close cycle will/can range from 6-18 months and will typically involve multiple decision makers in the purchasing decision.
  • Fluid organizational agility (the ability to learn, understand and navigate an organization at the upper to lower levels).
  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills and be able to present complex topics (pricing or service strategies).
  • Personal comfort level when dealing with senior positioned customers in professional and social settings.
