Lee's Summit Medical Center
is a full-service hospital serving Lee's Summit and surrounding areas. All services are supported by a medical staff of more than 300 physicians who represent more than 40 specialties. Lee's Summit Medical Center has more than 500 highly trained staff members and 50 volunteers.
As our community grows, so does our campus. Current services include Level III trauma care, Level II Stroke state designations, Accredited Chest Pain Center, Sarah Cannon Cancer Care, and an orthopedic center for excellence. An OR expansion project is currently underway and future plans for our campus include additional expansion of service lines and in increase in our overall bed capacity. With lots of space to grow, Lee's Summit Medical Center can continue to meet the needs of the residents they serve for years to come.

Under the general direction of the Radiologist and under the supervision of the Director Imaging performs mammography and breast localization. Function in direct cooperation with the physician and other Imaging personnel. Works within guidelines established in the policy and procedure manual and complies with all radiation safety guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of sterile technique and practices Universal Precautions. Performs associated duties, i.e. processing films, transporting patients, when necessary and assembling all associated paperwork and mammograms to provide to radiologist for dictation. Ability to lecture on mammography and breast self-examination, when necessary. May assist other areas of the Imaging Department and perform other duties as assignedQualifications: Minimum Requirements
: Prefer graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology and registered in Mammography. Licensure/ Certifications
: Must be registered with ARRT (R)(M). BCLS Required upon hire. Experience
: Minimum of one (1) year experience in Mammography
