As a Manager for the D Class Remarketing team, you will be responsible for development and support of the agile and quick solutions for the life cycle of the vehicle including the acquisition, maintenance, and remarketing of the fleet.  With almost $23 billion invested in over 2 million vehicles, you will play a critical role in working with the business leaders to drive out best in class solutions.  The D Class team serves an ever growing need to leverage technological solutions for more efficient, encompassing and cost effective processes that allows the business leaders to make decisions in a dynamic automotive environment.  You must possess the ability to quickly understand the business challenges and communicate the challenges to the engineering team. 

As a Manager, you will be responsible for defining and achieving the goals, objectives, processes and resources to support the overall strategic vision.  You will be responsible for people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews.  You will also be responsible for developing and retaining strong performers and preparing them for future responsibilities.  You will collaborate with Department Managers to identify and plan for resources needed to accomplish goals put forth by the business while maintaining IT security policies.  You will also identify, develop, and implement policies, standards, and procedures that support team activities associated with specific areas of expertise or responsibility and lead individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures.



  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • 5+ years of experience in IT 
  • 2+ years’ experience directly or indirectly managing an agile or fast paced software development team
  • 2+ years’ experience developing, coaching, and mentoring software engineers
  • 1+ years’ of experience performing project management and business analysis functions
  • Ability to be agile and flexible, understanding priorities can change quickly
  • Strong team work qualities with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with direct reports, peers, business partners, and management
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to assist in troubleshooting and discovery for existing and new systems
  • Establishes clear goals and timelines and sets key milestones to track progress
  • Experience managing resource and project plans
  • Sets high standards for performance, and enables, develops, and coaches the team to reach those standards
  • Must be able to effectively manage problems and conflict as situations arise
  • Must be able to travel between St. Louis campuses
  • Flexible schedule to allow for after-hours and weekend response to incidents when necessary
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Microsoft .net technology knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge or understanding of basic database design, usage, and development
  • Knowledge of the Vehicle life cycle business processes preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Database experience: TSQL programming, PL/SQL programming
  • Prior development experience
