This is a full-time position for a digital Manager, Client Marketing on the North American Client Marketing team and will be responsible for the day-to-day client/agency relationships with our advertisers. He/she helps manage the development of effective Internet marketing/advertising campaigns with other key departments, including ad operations and technical groups. This process includes driving development, strategy, and best Internet marketing practices with the Regional Account Manager and Director of Client Marketing. After campaigns launch, the Account Manager is responsible for ensuring delivery, reviewing monthly reports, analyzing results, and then acting on results with recommendations for optimization.  The Account Manager also plays a role in co-marketing activities with key partners and works to initiate, lead, and promote the adoption of digital media best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships
  • Strategize and develop client promotions and media campaigns, advising clients on best Internet practices and on BabyCenter’s value proposition
  • Lead internal development resources (creative services, research, marketing, and ad operations) in creating sponsored content and custom features that meet clients' needs while adding value for BabyCenter users
  • Drive timelines and manage development of advertising banners and emails
  • Communicate and keep clients informed of all issues related to their campaign
  • Manage monthly reporting and analyze campaign results and metrics of success
  • Proactively make recommendations to optimize clients' ad performance
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationship with clients and internal teams (including Sales partners)
  • Be the first point of contact for managing client concerns and ensuring timely resolution
  • Contribute to overall media business and product planning

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of work experience, including advertising agency account management, media planning, Internet marketing, or related experience is required
  • Proven client management/partnership experience with Fortune 500 companies required
  • Proven project management and analytical experience and skills, including Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Proven experience in management of creative development for online media campaigns preferred
  • Must be a quick learner with a demand for excellence who enjoys creating and working in a fast-paced environment, functioning well independently and on teams
  • Background in Internet and online media, including familiarity with online ad-buying models and measurement preferred
  • Comfort with DoubleClick/DART/ad serving and with rich media vendors such as Sizmek preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting in front of a group
  • Ability to think strategically while managing details
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working both internally as part of a team and with clients
  • Media planning experience a plus
  • Up to 5% travel
