The Data Governance Manager technical role will support the Analytical Systems, Data, and Reporting functions of the CMA Business Intelligence & Analytics team. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintain the current CMA Analytical Infrastructure. EDS Data Stores (ICE, IMS, IRIS, Dialer, Debt Manager)Teradata Production Tables (CIMS COLL)Teradata Sandbox (S_CMA)Hadoop Sandbox (S_CMA)SASGRID (CSCB) Support the Strategic initiative of the new CMA Business Intelligence project. Resourcing of Analytical data to Operational sources. Improve accuracy and timeliness. Build a new ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process. Standardized business rules and aggregate calculations.Balance and Control processing - error handling, fallouts, and alerts. Create Metadata repository. Documentation and Data Dictionary. Data Modeling. Optimized model for Tableau performance. Database Administration.Dashboard Reporting. Reporting Cube.Visual Analytics.Traffic Light / Heat Map reporting. Migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Recovery 2.0 project. Convert 310+ Access Databases into 1 MySQL Database (AWS).Create Web-based User Interface (UI) through a Java Angular and Spring solution.Implement new ETL process.Automate File Transmissions. Inbound from Vendors (Recovery Agencies, Attorneys).Outbound to Production (Debt Manager). Automate Letter generation process. Interface with the Print and Electronic Letter Utility (PLU & ELU).Batch processing capability.Auto Memo creation.Letter tracking. Support the Statistical Analysts in data mining needs for CMA Strategy development, monitoring, and implementation.Investigate and resolve Production ICE/IMS issues and Customer Compliance inquiries.Deliver Collection metrics for CFPB and Fry-14 Regulatory reporting.Represent CMA as a Business Steward in the Enterprise Data Governance project.Work with external Vendors to evaluate new Collection products to improve contact rates and increase Collection effectiveness ($ dollars received).Provide IMS Control reporting.
Skills required: 4+ years using SAS.4+ years experience in Teradata.4+ years UNIX Shell scripting.1+ years Tableau Dashboard reporting.Knowledge and Experience in the Hadoop and AWS is a plus, but not required.Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.Good communication skills. Previous financial service industry experience is a plus.
