Current Need
We need a multi-faceted compliance and ethics professional with experience in compliance internal controls & monitoring, risk assessment and mitigation planning.  The ideal candidate also will have a healthcare background, with deep subject-matter knowledge in fraud & abuse, anti-kickback and government contracting.   
Position Description
This position will support the Chief Counsel, Investigations, Risk Assessment and Monitoring and report to the Director, Compliance Risk Assessment and Monitoring, who oversees the program.  This person will work collaboratively with members of the Compliance, Regulatory and Ethics team, other risk assessing organizations, and Business Unit Compliance Officers and  will be responsible for the management of a risk-based compliance monitoring and testing program including the development of key strategies, methodology, framework and standards for conducting compliance monitoring projects and reporting results.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Draft reports of the results of monitoring & testing projects, which are clear, concise, and provide value to management.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management, help determine root causes, obtain management's action plan for remediation in a timely manner and track actions through resolution.
  • Provide updates on the state of the Compliance Monitoring Program for the quarterly report to the Audit Committee of the Board.
  • Maintain system for tracking and monitoring risk mitigation activities.
  • Stay abreast of the regulatory environment and expectations through discussions with peers, seminars, webinars, roundtables presented by regulatory agencies, law firms, compliance associations, etc.
This person must be a self-starter who enjoys working on a breadth of projects.  Superior project management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work is essential.  This position requires superior written and verbal communication skills as the individual must be able to develop, summarize and deliver complex ideas in a way that is understood and appreciated by multiple audiences.  Finally, this person must appreciate the legal context of their work and display appropriate sensitivity to the confidential nature of the work. It is essential that this person be of unquestionable integrity.


Minimum Requirements
8 years Compliance, Legal, HR, Business or related field or equivalent
Critical Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of audit, risk assessment or compliance program management experience
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Solid organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office
  • Database management experience
    Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated industry a plus
  • Able to quickly develop key business partnerships
  • Must be self-managing and able to work with minimal day-to-day guidance.
  •  Must enjoy being a member of a cohesive team
BA or BS degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
CCEP or similar certification a plus.
