This position will work to provide business intelligence and financial support for Home Decorators Collection and the Home Depot Online Digital Décor portfolio. Digital Décor is a key strategic focus area of the online team and will grow rapidly. The Manager of Finance will work cross-functionally with business partners from HDC, HD.com, Merchandising, Marketing and Finance. This role has responsibility for the entire Home Decorators Collection P&L and Digital Décor businesses. The ideal candidate should be able to engage strategically with the business and feel comfortable presenting and defending their analyses to senior leadership.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Works to fully understand the business and provide strategic support to leadership team
- Support HDC through their integration to new back end systems
- Build and maintain annual and multi-year financial plans
- Own routine forecasting and reporting; utilize reporting to provide direction to business partners on driving sales and profitability; maintain controllership of the P&Ls
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Manage and develop team

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Financial planning and analysis experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Knowledge of accounting principles and practicies, analysis and reporting of financial data.
Knowledge of business and mgmt. Principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Project management skills; ability to prioritize and mult-task effectively.
