The Manager of Lead Development will lead a team of high-performing Lead Development Reps who cover North America from our corporate headquarters in Lowell, MA. You will oversee the reps' day-to-day productivity, monitor lead queues, provide clear direction & constructive coaching - always working towards performance improvement & rep development. The manager must be a collaborator who communicates effectively and works well with internal 'customers' (inside / field sales), and stakeholders across the marketing organization.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve all team-assigned lead production objectives and MBOs (and any individually assigned objectives)
Ensure timely follow-up of unqualified leads and drive lead conversion rates.
Audit the LDR's conversations / interactions and CRM utilization to coach for effectiveness and quality
Enable / train LDRs on system proficiency, processes, campaigns (objectives and strategy), products and solutions
Responsible for maintaining effective calling guidelines and scripts
Education and Training:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience in related field
Minimum 6-8 years experience (including 2 to 4 years management of a lead development or inside sales team; preferably 4 to 6 years lead qualification/generation/inside sales)
Business to Business and High Tech / Software industry required
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Salesforce.com proficiency REQUIRED; sales engagement / productivity tools, marketing automation are plusses)
Highly motivated person with a passion to succeed!
Excellent people skills and must enjoy working with others
The ability to lead during change and be ready to adapt to conquer new challenges
Solution oriented person that presents issues and provides answers
