  • Plan and execute local and national meetings and symposiums to keep aligned with key strategies while meeting patient needs. Leverage KOL and consumer speakers to enhance messages and develop relationships
  • Drive consumer educational programs; including content, speaker management, agency management, financial approval process, and legal/regulatory approval process
  • Work closely with industry partners and associations for patient education program advancements
  • Develop Shire branded therapy presentations for use in consumer promotion
  • Drive Shire branded tactics that are in line with our core product messaging
  • Develop strategic communications and/or trainings to internal and external customers on current projects and tactics
  • Participate in the process for selecting strategic partners in marketing and promotional tools/programs and manages vendor/agency relationships
  • Participate in development and continuous improvement of Multi-media promotions, processes and tools
  • Develop creative briefs for project initiation that align with core company tactics
  • Measure value, impact, and ROI
  • Experience in development and execution of promotional collateral with an ability to articulate the value of the promotional materials to the sales organization
  • Ability to leverage internal and external customer listening to anticipate and identify product and/or program needs
  • Experience in brand messaging and aligning a communication strategy and unbranded messaging
  • Ability to apply Competitive Intelligence learnings into Marketing Plans, and develop and execute tactics to address competitive threats.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal skills and excellent communication across functions, organizational levels and cultures to help deliver business results
