Manage the day-to-day operations of the U.S. Business Leadership Development Program and components of the U.S. Business recognition program. Ensure programs align closely with and drive U.S. Business strategic priorities while meeting specific business area needs.  Champion development, recognition and engagement practices broadly while promoting diversity and inclusion.  Continually improve and expand programs and offerings.  Connect with other functions and regions to share and learn from best practices.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage the U.S. Business Leadership Development Program (LDP) for early career associates, ensuring this business-driven initiative meets strategic goals set by the U.S. Business Senior Leadership Team
  • Partner closely with business segment leads to identify and negotiate rotations aligned with significant business needs while providing robust on-the-job learning opportunities
  • Facilitate the annual recruiting, placement and onboarding processes for up to 15 positions around the U.S. businesses and functional areas
  • Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching and feedback to program members, rotation managers (mainly AVPs and Directors) and alumni
  • Support the PDP process and compensation planning for all program members
  • Influence and facilitate post-program placements for graduating members through close alignment with business leaders and HR
  • Execute triannual learning and development sessions including reviewing and revising curricula and negotiating with external vendors for delivery of trainings as needed, securing internal business content, and  presenting networking opportunities
  • Shape and execute marketing and communications for the program, advocating for the  program across a broad array of forums and channels
  • Manage components of the U.S. Business Recognition program
  • Partner with business segment leads, HR and Communications to roll-out an integrated approach to employee engagement, recognition and non-cash rewards that meets a diverse range of needs
  • Administer the points programs for the businesses
  • Implement the regular refreshing and maintenance of the Center Stage platform and the sound expansion of the use of its functionality, working closely with vendor contacts
  • Support marketing, communications and education around the program, advocating for the  program across a broad array of forums and channels
  • Coordinate execution of region-wide awards and engagement campaigns
  • Track metrics for assessing the impact of programs and, in response, propose, implement and evaluate process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of programs
  • Oversee coordination of enterprise-wide internship programs (INROADS, DSY) within U.S. Business, acting as liaison between centralized program managers and business segment leaders




Management Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Director, USB Development and Recognition Programs on people management responsibilities, including hiring, terminations, performance and compensation management, ongoing coaching and feedback, and training and development



  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, HR or related discipline; Master’s degree in related field preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of learning, development and training; organizational behavior and dynamics; employee motivation; change management
  • Leadership skills to inspire the trust, confidence and respect of senior leaders, peers and program participants
  • Program management experience
  • Judgment, tact, discretion, maturity and integrity, with the ability to negotiate with and influence leaders at all levels, including regarding sensitive performance and position-related matters
  • Strategic planning and analytical thinking capabilities to recommend a course of action, anticipate and account for potential issues that could arise over a multi-year time horizon and solve problems effectively
  • Ability to lead and deliver multiple complex projects within a dynamic, matrix environment with shifting priorities
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Vendor management skills
  • Ability to gather meaningful qualitative and quantitative feedback and turn into actionable recommendations for program improvements
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. Business and enterprise functions
  • Computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project and Qualtrics
