Responsibilities: •Lead and manage a high performance team with experience and a passion for mentoring / growing individuals. •Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation and learning, while holding a high bar for craftsmanship. •Lead efforts to resolve conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths. •Identify and execute on scaling the team non-linearly through process and automation.
•Drive projects that improve support related processes, using metrics to show operational improvements. •Partner with product, engineering, business development, and others to deliver on LinkedIn's partnership goals. •Help partners leverage LinkedIn's technology to enhance their own offerings, integrate with them to fill gaps in and extend our product portfolio. •Actively seek solutions to developer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the developer experience.
Basic Qualifications: •B. . /B. . in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. •5+ years of development experience. •3+ years experience hiring, building, and coaching high performance teams in an agile setting. •Clear and personable communicator of technical concepts, both orally and in writing, to both technical and non-technical audiences. •Passion to help developers succeed. •Strong leadership, project planning and execution skills.
Preferred Qualifications: •Experience with platforms, including integrating large company or enterprise services, either as a consumer or a provider. •Proven ability to operate in a collaborative cross-functional team environment, providing thought leadership to help drive consensus and reach key decisions. •Strong management skills for planning and executing complex cross-functional projects. •Understanding of web technologies, such as HTTP, REST, and OAuth.
