Current Need

The Manager of Pipeline Analytics and Intelligence participates actively in McKesson Specialty Health’s Manufacturer Solutions’ efforts to support the successful commercialization of oncology and multispecialty products for our pharmaceutical manufacturer customers. He or she collaborates with business leads across the organization to identify, create, and assess ways to leverage our diverse solutions to deliver insights in support of the customer’s product lifecycle. The Manger of Pipeline Analytics and Intelligence provides objective information to internal and external stakeholders about current and future disease markets, drug product performance, and competitors.


Position Description

 

 

  1. Provide support to business development team in sales process, including responses to RFP’s, customer calls and presentations
  2. Provide guidance and recommendations to data analytics team on how to identify, extract, and organize the clinical data to identify the appropriate sample populations from EMR, claims, and other sources. Ability to review data output and provides constructive feedback.
  3. Deliver clinical insights on drugs and disease information including specific details on drug dosing, administration, and handling to educate colleagues for business engagements with manufacturers
  4. Translate specific client/internal research questions into actionable strategic data analysis plans and deliverables
  5. Provide key insights and conclusions to internal and external stakeholders based on data analysis and clinical experience
  6. Assist team with overall clinical data quality improvement initiatives
  7. Serve as a moderator for clinical webcasts
  8. Provide written summaries for physician advisory boards and focus groups

 

  1. Analyze trends in the specialty market and the specialty pipeline to advise internal business units and to create strategy solutions for manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and other biotechnology products
  2. Facilitate earlier engagement with manufacturers and identify opportunities for McKesson services based on pipeline product characteristics

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
3+ years specific healthcare and/or systems-related experience and demonstrated leadership skills

Critical Skills

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Advanced Practice Provider, Nursing, or other healthcare degree

At least 3 years of clinical work experience in the hospital or outpatient setting.

Oncology experience required

Ability to analyze clinical data, to multitask in an environment of competing and changing priorities, to translate clinical information to business-related challenges, and to work with a multidisciplinary team

Advanced presentation and delivery skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel


Additional Knowledge & Skills
Statistical programming (SAS, SPSS, etc.), Evaluate Pharma experience a plus

Experience in working with EMR, pharmacy claims, or medical claims data a plus

Strong communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both written and orally

Pharma/Biotech experience a plus


Education
4-year degree in nursing or healthcare-related field or equivalent experience

Travel up to 30-40%
