Manager, Sales Development Operations & Strategy
LinkedIn s Sales Operations & Strategy team is searching for a Manager passionate about driving business growth using data-driven insights to support our Sales Development (SD) organization. This role will work with LinkedIn s global Sales Development leadership on the most important strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and efficiencies.
The Manager, Sales Development Operations & Strategy, will be a key business advisor to our SD North American Head focused on supporting LinkedIn Sales Solutions business. The manager plays a key role in deriving insights from LinkedIn s customer and sales data. They will be responsible for helping executives and sales management make data-driven decisions
The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations leaders and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a self-starter who can recognize where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them.
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with senior leadership to drive strategies for Global Sales Development
  • Be at the forefront of thought leadership for LinkedIn s monetization strategy
  • Drive high priority initiatives including (but not limited to) strategic planning, territory optimization, sales incentive design, process optimization, forecasting
  • Plan and execute all initiatives and programs for maximum impact by minimal disruption to your key stakeholders in the sales team
  • Learn and use CRM tools to drive technical analysis of sales and activities
  • Deliver global operations programs that evolve and transform LinkedIn s sales model
  • Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Finance, and Sales
  • Partner with Segment heads to define business strategy and priorities
  • Prepare and share regional business performance metrics on media business for QBRs, deep-dives, etc. and triangulate with business performance
  • Some travel may be required (15%)
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 + years experience in management consulting, sales operations or sales management
  • BA or BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Experience at a management consulting firm or equivalent experience (Tech strategy/operations, etc)
  • 2+ years of experience in team management
  • Deep experience analyzing data and the ability to use data to drive insights and decision-making
  • Experience using and developing reports, metrics and dashboards with Excel, SQL, Tableau and / or salesforce.com
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience with senior management
