Position Description:

The Nursing Manager organizes and maintains patient care functions on an ongoing basis with direction and input from area Director. The individual works to enhance patient outcomes through management of human resources, staff education and performance improvement. The Nurse Manager is a role model for excellence in quality care, customer satisfaction and performance improvement.
Qualifications:
Position Qualifications:
  • Current FL RN Licensure
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification (American Heart Association) Healthcare Provider
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • 3 - 5 years RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Supervisory experience helpful
  • RN Charge Experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
