This role will be responsible for providing exemplary customer service by managing total absence claims in a timely and accurate fashion.



  • Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing activities for unit, oversees Unit Leaders.
  • Builds and manages effective partnerships with both internal and external customers.
  • Promotes change and assesses proposed business solutions and process improvements,
  • Integrates customer needs with the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Fosters the creation and execution of operational metrics (e.g., productivity, quality) that drive accountability and results.
  • Provides leadership on major initiatives and uses leadership role and knowledge to affect the work and direction of the
  • Full people management responsibility, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development claim organization.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required. 


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience in claims or customer service.
  • 4+ years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated TAM and industry knowledge.
  • Expert influence, negotiation and networking skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal/written/presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems using sound business judgment.
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus.
