Skills and knowledge requirements:
•Manage daily tasks and activities of the System Test Engineering teams assigned
•Oversee and/or participate in the integration and test of software upgrades.
•Interface with Engineering staff and management to determine project workloads and priorities.
•Manage the development of test methodologies, plans and procedures for customer software deliverables.
•Collaborate with multiple departments on project schedules and priorities.
•Coordinate with respective departments on system design as they pertain to overall system functionality.
•Provide direction and guidance on technical designs and issues encountered in the lab and/or field.
•Act as a primary point of contact for both internal and external customers for those projects you are assigned.
•Meet with employees to review performance against objectives and against metrics.
•Conduct performance review on a regular basis with formal reviews to be performed on a pre-defined basis.
•Assist in developing budgetary requirements and recommendations.
•Control and Manage a budget between $2,000,000 and $3,000,000.
•Manage up to 20 Engineers and all testing equipment and test racks required to perform system tests
•Manage the shift tester team of up to 4 supervisors and 50 testers. The majority of the team will work a M-F 3pm-midnight shift. General administrative responsibilities fall to the supervisors and will require management overview at varying times including weekends and holidays.
•Excellent writing and strong communication skills with proactive attitude.
•Problem solving and troubleshooting skills required of both H/W and S/W.

Qualifications:
Requirements/Qualifications:
•BS or MS in engineering or equivalent Industry experience required.
•5+ years In-Flight Entertainment or similar experience recommended.
•Previous experience managing a technical work-force is highly recommended in addition to having a strong hands-on technical skills.
• Project Management experience is recommended.
• Ability to work with a wide range of personalities under stressful situations is required.
