TESTING OF BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT
- Operates a hydraulic test stand.
- Follows test procedures to test and / or set product.
- Generates basic and intermediate test setups using a test procedure in order to connect product to test stand for evaluation.
- Documents daily test results.

ASSEMBLY OF BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT
- Interprets engineering drawings to position parts for proper assembly.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips or other fasteners.
- Uses light bench equipment and a variety of hand and power tools. May torque components together.
- Operates powered hoist.
- Completes scrap tickets and reject information,
- Maintains, and adheres to all company ISO procedures.
- Performs duties in safe manner and adheres to company safety guidelines.
- Maintains a clean workplace.
- Performs basic maintenance procedures as required.
- Make suggestions for changes to operations to improve quality, reduce costs, and otherwise, enhance operations.
- Performs other duties, including temporary assignment to a higher or lower classification job as assigned by management.
- Accurately documents productivity, quality, delivery and 5S plus safety data daily.

Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one to three years assembly experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively one-on-one or before groups or customers or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate technical issues to supervisor or support team.

Mathematical skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with and solve problems in standard situations on a regular basis.

Other skills and abilities
Blueprint reading skills required. Must have a basic understanding of measuring equipment. Must be able to operate basic computer functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee is subject to an environment with hydraulic oil, and hydraulic machinery generating loud ambient noise.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for sustained periods of time, up to 10 hours per day and 50 hours per week.
- Employee must use hands to handle, lift, manipulate, and feel objects, tools, and controls. The employee is constantly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about the factory.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- The employee must be able to regularly apply up to 100 ft-lbs of torque using an 18 inch torque wrench.
- The employees is required to have close visual acuity to perform computer work and visual inspection of small parts, components, and elements of machinery necessary for quality control and safe operation.
