An awesome Manufacturing Assembly Technician position has opened up in the in Mountain View area! This role is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology. The world leading search engine is looking for Manufacturing Assembly Technicians that will be working with sensitive proprietary materials. The main focus of this role will be the final assembly of various modules to adhere to customer demands. Manufacturing Assembly Technicians will be working closely with Tech Leads, Test Techs, and Engineering Technicians to develop/improve assembly processes and documentation. Pay range for this position is $17.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Manufacturing Test Technician Responsibilities:
Maintain a smooth running production line.
Assist in the organization and maintenance of work stations.
Assemble various modules according to the specified standard operating procedures. Run testing and calibration on various modules
Debug and report issues on failed modules on the line and that return from the field
Give feedback to Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians on operating procedures/materials used for manufacturing
Report personal/line specific end of day/end of week productivity and quality metrics
General familiarity with electrical and electronic systems, including printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA's) and wiring harnesses
Ability to use various types of tools with high dexterity.
Experience in soldering is highly desirable.
High level problem solving experience.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds by themselves
Ability to complete projects with the highest level of quality
At least 3 years of comparable manufacturing or assembly experience.
Experience with Linux/Unix computer environments and running basic programs (Python, C, C++, BASH, etc...)
Laser skills are a plus.
