Adecco direct-hire group currently has a full-time, permanent position for a Manufacturing Process Engineer located in Erie, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Aerospace manufacturer to help design, build and test new prototype parts and components. Your experience in CNC machining, GD&T, Blueprint interpretation, LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control will all come together in this position to create and build fascinating new products.

As the Manufacturing Process Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Working with customers to understand needs and product dimensions
Design computer models of prototype parts using EPICOR software
Programming and Operation of CNC mills, lathes and EDM machines
Interpreting blueprints including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance)
Using LEAN manufacturing methods, Six Sigma skills and TQM to improve and consolidate production processes


Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or higher in an Engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing engineer position
Applicants MUST be familiar with CNC Machining processes (mills, lathes and/or EDM machines)
Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing methods, Six Sigma practices and Total Quality Management (TQM) methods
Excellent blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Aerospace industry experience is a plus (not required)
