Pay Rate/Salary: $75000-85000 / Year
The responsibility of the Process Engineer is day-to-day management of all engineering activities related to the assigned production team. Drive continuous improvement in all systems and processes. Manage the effective prioritization and resourcing for completion of projects, and problem solving efforts, for improvement of operator safety, product quality, productivity and on time delivery. Provide engineering support to Factory Operations and associated support functions.
Duties and responsibilities
Provide process engineering support to assigned cells, with area.
Network with peers across product categories and areas of expertise.
Helps define, specify and communicate expectations for quality outcomes.
Ensures engineering solutions meet requirements for safety, cost, time, and quality.

Participate in developing strategic manufacturing processes. Also assist in developing the short and long-range capital planning. Prepare capital expenditure requisitions and manage the implementation of capital equipment projects. Research, evaluate, justify, and recommend capital equipment for operations.
Prepare and coordinate the implementation schedule for major projects and process changes.
Develop and/or maintain all process documentation (ie. routings, standard work, work instructions, setup sheets, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
Analyze proposed engineering changes for manufacturing impact and feasibility.
Oversee the execution of all engineering related project types (NPD, Sustaining, VAVE, line extension, etc.) for the defined area. Maintain Alignment of Projects with business unit's goals and overall strategic plan. Establish and Maintain appropriate performance Metrics.
Provide technical direction and leadership to the product development team.
Maintain awareness of all Engineering policies, guidelines and procedures, and comply with them to ensure processes meet safety, performance, cost and reliability goals.
Ensuring that Engineering budget and resources are adequate to support committed projects.

Participate in developing and maintaining procedures and documents for the manufacturing engineering department as required.
Assist purchasing and quality Assurance in qualifying suppliers for new product or product changes.
Demonstrated experience in Project Management
Knowledge and demonstrated skills in Lean Manufacturing
Ability to manage multiple projects / assignments simultaneously
Set individual goals in Alignment with Organizational goals and monitor progress through regular performance feedback sessions with their Organizations
Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical manufacturing
BS or MS in Engineering or related field
5 years of relevant experience
