In this role, you will be responsible for managing CVD / CVI fiber tow coating manufacturing processes and initiates and implements productivity, cost and quality improvement projects. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
+ Develop new methods or changes to equipment leading to general improvement of CVD / CVI coating operation to prevent defects and improve quality and yield to minimize the overall coated tow cost
+ Become the "CVD / CVI fiber coating expert" by providing direct input to R&D, material processes and engineering teams across the business
+ Provide concise design criteria and process constraints for facility expansions or improvements and assume responsibility for all new or improved equipment start up exercises and tests
+ Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering, materials science or engineering from an accredited College or University
+ Minimum of 5 years of industry related experience
