MANUFACTURING. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Able to read schematics, mechanical drawings, circuit diagrams, and written procedures. Able to use a wide variety of test equipment in order to troubleshoot instrument test failures. Ability to follow procedures to assemble and run tests on diagnostic and /or bioresearch instruments. Candidate should able to use logical root cause analysis to resolve routine hardware, electronic or chemistry failures.
Work with manual tools and powered hand tools to perform the Final Test phase of Chemistry Diagnostic instruments. Candidate must be able to efficiently follow detailed procedures and adhere to Engineering specification to complete work. Must communicate effectively, work closely with the Shift Supervisor and Shift Lead and be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Candidate must also demonstrate ability to use good judgment based on technical expertise to properly assess non-conformances and troubleshoot accordingly. Candidate must be able to work in a high-paced manufacturing environment utilizing personal protection equipment. Candidate must be able to work in general factory surroundings. Standing frequently, lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. and pushing instruments, on wheels, of up to 1500 lbs. will be required. Candidate will be expected to adhere to strict Bio-HazaQualified Candidates will possess the following: - AA Electronics degree or equivalent with 2+ years - 7 years of experience. MUST HAVE ELECTRONICS EXPERIENCE - Diagnostics experience would be considered a HUGE PLUS - Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs - Relevant Computer skills with Oracle experience HIGHLY PERFERRED. - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. - Strong sense of urgency and solid problem solving skills.rd and ESD sensitive practices/ standards.
