Motivates team members to achieve SPS and departmental goals Trains personnel in safety / regulatory compliance, quality, production and efficiency standards set by the department Supervises assembly, inspection and testing operations of assigned department to ensure quality standards to meet customer expectations Supervises work ensuring a high level of productivity is maintained; Evaluates, mentors, assigns, and rewards employees in his/her/their span of control. Schedules daily production levels and assures availability of parts and supplies for production. Recommends employees for hire, transfer, promotion, discharge or counseling Administers the implementation of all assembly line set-ups and accurately completes the required documentation. Investigates and resolves issues that arise within the assembly line Ensures assigned work area is neat, clean and in accordance with Schneider Electric 5S standards. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications: This job might be for you if have:
Knowledge of the operation of machinery, assembly processes, tools and components used in the assembly and testing of products, use of computer, email, MRP Knowledge of the principles of personnel selection, motivation, corrective action, supervision and work scheduling Knowledge of appropriate safety precautions and procedures including injury investigation/documentation Knowledge of basic mathematics, computer use Ability to think in a logical and systematic way to solve problems, incorporate suggestions and create solutions. Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, company management, fellow employees and subordinates. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with those contacted in the course of work, both in oral and written form Ability to work in a culturally diverse workplace with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
