Adecco Staffing has immediate openings for a Manufacturing Technician in Grand Island, NY. The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for the performance of the activities associated with the cell culture product manufacturing process. Perform manufacturing and assembly of Class 1 medical device cell culture products in accordance to current good manufacturing practices. The right candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time and be able to work safely with materials and equipment. Essential Functions Responsible for labeling, packaging and documenting. Requires standing 95-100% of the day Perform manufacture of cell culture products in accordance to current good manufacturing practices. Monitor and ensure all personnel are following safe practices and SOP's. Calibrate/operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment. Weigh, measure and check raw materials to assure batches manufactured contain proper materials and quantities. Maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP's and standard operating procedures. Maintain equipment and rooms in proper operation condition and proper cleanliness requirements. Perform activities in controlled environment up to and including classified clean room conditions. Experience: Prior experience in a GMP manufacturing environment is preferred Knowledge of computer applications and current software is desirable General understanding of machinery and mechanics is advantageous Candidates must have good documentation and communication skills Requires High School Diploma/ GED Must be willing to work overtime, including Saturdays Shift & Pay: 6:30am-3:00pm/ $11.50 per hour Adecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers.
