A Manufacturing Test Technician in Mountain View, CA is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology. In this job you will be working with sensitive proprietary materials. Test Technicians will be working closely with Tech Leads, Test Techs and Engineering Technicians to develop/improve assembly processes and documentation. This is a on year long contract opportunity with a leading high tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA. Pay range will be $25-$30 an hour dependant on experience. The shift is day 8AM-5PM with overtime opportunities.

Manufacturing Test Technician Responsibilities Include:

Keep production line running smoothly
Keep workstations organized and clean
Assemble / test various modules according to the specified standard operating procedures
Give feedback to Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians on operating procedures/materials used for manufacturing
Report personal end of day/end of week productivity and quality metrics


Qualifications:

Some familiarity with electrical and electronic systems, including printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA's) and wiring harnesses
Familiarity with and ability to use hardware tools with great manual dexterity
Strong soldering skills
Great problem solving skills
Basic computer skills mandatory
Ability to follow SOP's and communicate discrepancies
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Experience with lasers a plus
Extreme devotion to quality
3 years manufacturing experience
Experience with Linux/Unix computer environments and running basic programs (Python, C, C++, BASH, etc...) a plus
Bachelor's degree a plus
