The Global Solutions team operates Visa Integrated Marketing Solutions (VIMS), an end-to-end marketing platform that enables Visa's Financial Institution clients develop, deploy and analyze data-driven marketing strategies in a multi-channel environment across the customer lifecycle - new customer acquisition, new customer activation or onboarding, and card usage. What will I work on in Global Solutions / VIMS? We have unique and exciting opportunities for you here in our San Francisco office as we continue to grow our team. The Marketing Analyst position will support the implementation and long-term strategic evolution of the VIMS Platform. Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Work with key stakeholders within Visa, including product and brand marketing, technology, and key agencies to develop and execute credit and debit lifecycle marketing campaigns for issuers
  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity by recommending new ideas and solutions that drive platform development and evolution that align with client needs and Visa's business including new campaign types, marketing channel innovation, targeting approaches, and business process improvements
  • Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, business development) and across global regions to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's resources and to ensure emerging and existing Visa assets (data, analytics, tools, services, partnerships) are integrated into the VIMS platform as appropriate
  • Leverage industry and Visa data, market research, key learnings, and best practices to add value and deliver relevant insights and recommendations to the VIMS team and clients
  • Assist in definition of project scope and requirements to determine project viability and fiscal soundness
  • Support budget forecasting and management
  • What is Global Solutions looking for in a Marketing Analyst? We seek experienced, pro-active, high-achieving professionals to build marketing solutions for our clients. Specific requirements are:

  • BA/BS required
  • 2+ years business experience, with majority in marketing or consulting roles that involved project management, marketing or business strategy, market research, innovation, product launches or planning
  • Experience collaborating with and managing agency partners and vendors
  • Experience managing credit lifecycle marketing campaigns, including acquisitions
  • Team player with experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that include a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
  • Ability and initiative to self-manage when necessary and ability to multitask to support multiple efforts as needed
  • A high, self-defined standard of excellence and drive for continual improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in PowerPoint
  • Some willingness to travel (less than 10% of the time)
