�� What will I work on in Global Solutions and VIMS? We have unique and exciting opportunities for you here in our San Francisco office as we continue to grow our team. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative content and establish new delivery channels to disseminate deep industry knowledge for issuer, acquirer and merchant clients across the globe. Key responsibilities in this role include:
Create a valid, holistic database pulling from multiple marketing campaign management platforms to generate program �level insights, i.e., combine the learnings from multiple individual campaigns to identify best-in-class marketing strategies
Levels of analysis will include filters by campaign type, by issuer, by product, by channel, by region
Levels of strategic insight will include Audience, Offer, Channel, Frequency/Sequence, Creative
Partner with other analytics and IT teams within Visa to leverage the power of Visa data, models and segmentation schemes
Partner with VIMS Campaign Manager to ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality
Build from simple correlations to identify immediate, actionable improvements, and progressing to statistical models and machine learning to create algorithms that can easily scale
Deliverables will include segmentation schemes, predictive models and other statistical techniques to drive improved marketing campaign performance
Master and perform all steps required to create analysis-ready data sets � data integration/merging, variable preparation, and quality control
Utilize desktop and UNIX toolset (SAS, SQL, Tableau, PowerPoint) to create report content such as tables, reports, graphs, etc. suitable for an executive audience
Document and articulate steps taken in an analysis suitable for business audiences and for technical audiences
�What is Global Solutions looking for in a Marketing Analytics Manager? We seek experienced, pro-active, high-achieving professionals to bring innovative ideas to our consulting solution development. Specific requirements are:
Degree in Statistics, Math, Econometrics; double major in business or marketing preferred; MBA or other relevant Master's degree preferred.
Expert in data management tools such as SAS, SQL, Hadoop for digital analytics, and statistical programming languages such as R
Experience linking multiple data platforms with data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau
Skilled in Predictive analytics, predictive modeling, and business analytics
Knowledgeable in creating demographic and behavioral segmentation, and in developing marketing predictive models such as campaign response propensity, future/potential customer value, and next-product-to-buy
Hands-on experience in predictive modeling, e.g., clustering algorithms, logistic regression, CHAID, neural networks, and model validation best practices
Solid understanding of relational databases and complex linkages
Competent in best practices for missing value imputation, variable standardization, and variable reduction
Ability to maintain the highest standards of data quality and project documentation
Effective communicator with both marketing/business and technology partners
Knowledge of the payments industry and banking products a plus
