Marketing Associate


Aids in the development and implementation of campaigns and programs with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility, providing initial discovery and research to find proper resources and aid in the development of campaigns. Includes event set up & organization, CPE execution, registration/data entry, facilitation of internal processes to implement, webinars, direct mail and various administrative tasks as needed. Engages most closely with other marketers and specific partners involved in identified programs / campaigns including growth and industry teams, and may work with local, niche teams on their marketing.


Responsibilities:


  • Marketing responsibilities for geographic, industry or functional team:
    • Assists with coordination and implementation of, trade shows, seminars and sponsorships, webinars, and other marketing campaigns lead by respective department/office teams and marketing managers; Specific activities may include managing event registration, coordinating with local venues for F&B, AV requirements and other logistics, and on-site event support and coordination all aspects of invitation process, summarizing post event results and metrics, processing CPE
    • Coordinate approvals from legal, marketing (brand), and Lines of Business per requisite protocols as needed for advertising and other content
    • Coordinate with trade show/event organizers for exhibit space, logistics, etc.
    • Make modifications to existing press release template, obtain marketing approval and distribute press releases to the media for local activities outside scope of national PR team
    • Handle distribution/ordering of marketing premiums and materials
    • Facilitates and coordinates interaction with GTMS processes for various campaigns and activities

  • Participates in helping translate national initiatives into localized programs, which could include initiating new projects to precede or follow national efforts as well as helping to develop custom programs efforts with the advice of their manager and team
    • Manages projects to ensure that all milestones and deadlines are met and work is accomplished within budget parameters

  • Prepares initial draft of presentations for a variety of uses including, RFP responses and proposals as part of new business development initiatives:
    • Leverage national proposal database for relevant content
    • Prepares initial draft of proposal or presentation by working with marketing or practice counterparts to include appropriate content
    • May conduct internet and/or internal client research using IPM or other internal sources as needed to include information

  • Maintains Marketing Databases:
    • May update and maintain current client and prospect information and monthly sales opportunities, using the sales and marketing database (SalesForce.Com) and coordinate activities with Administrative professionals
    • Serves as liaisons to Administrative function sharing knowledge of SalesForce.com and other marketing tools as appropriate
    • Coordinates maintenance as needed with appropriate teams in related databases; updating contact data in the respective database from mail returns, email bounces and other sales and marketing activities
    • Solid understanding of marketing processes and tools to be able to effectively utilize them to successfully achieve marketing objectives and personal goals

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:


  • Marketing basics
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn other platforms such as Salesforce.com
  • 2+years’ experience
  • How to find internal marketing resources. Has an eagerness to learn more in marketing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees
  • Operates within clearly defined parameters and tasks while able to effectively prioritize tasks and projects with limited oversight
