**Job Description:** The Marketing Data Analyst must have a passion for data, deep comfort and experience with Salesforce reporting capabilities, and the ability to translate business process into reporting functionality, in order to drive revenue and improve marketing efforts. The Marketing Data Analyst will have direct responsibility for creating, testing & implementing Salesforce reporting & dashboards that support accurate, comprehensive marketing performance reporting for the Chief Marketing Officer, and marketing leadership team. Responsibilities: + General Marketing administration of Salesforce.com including reporting and analysis. + Further develop metrics, KPIs, analytics and dashboards to provide marketing measurement and drive marketing performance through deep business insight + Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and review and analyze previously created reports & dashboards for suitability + Build custom reports and dashboards to share data across departments and teams. + Perform data inspection, cleanup and governance to ensure data integrity + Proactively identify automation opportunities and recommend process improvements to improve system efficiencies + Compile, manage and maintain detailed Salesforce data becoming the subject-matter expert relative to what we collect, process and establish as metrics in regards to the company’s marketing efforts. + Follow company data standards and ensure adherence in the course of processing/updating data and incorporate company data governance policies, practices and standardization. + Understand user requirements and make configuration related change requests within Salesforce, including: adding new fields; editing page layouts; creating list views, reports and dashboards, workflow and validation rules. + Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and review and analyze previously created custom fields, objects and triggers for suitability. Requirements: + BA/BS or equivalent working experience. + Minimum 2 years Salesforce experience, Admin Certification Preferred + Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis. + Able to identify issues and succinctly raise them, while offering potential solutions. + Deep understanding of marketing best practices and challenges for data consumers + Hands-on working knowledge of demand generation process in a B2B environment highly preferred. **EMC Values:** When you choose our company, you join a diverse world of innovative thought leaders.
