The Away From Home Division (AFH) is looking for change-makers who relish the challenge of creating something new, challenging the status quo within an organization and delighting consumers and customers with innovative products and platforms. The Marketing Innovation Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining an innovation pipeline for key Foodservice customers and channels. This role works across the PepsiCo beverage portfolio to identify innovation opportunities that address consumer needs and build equity for PepsiCo brands. The Marketing Manager will be our lead innovation expert across our most critical national customers, as well as drive breakthrough channel led innovation program. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the development and execution of PepsiCo's beverage innovation agenda across key national PepsiCo customers
  • Directly interface with key customer teams, and present out and align with key stakeholders
  • Lead development of buzz-worthy, equity-driving innovation to test in strategic incubation customers
  • Partner with Insights to develop consumer research plans to test new product innovation platforms and identify white space opportunities
  • Manage the development of specific concepts through the PepsiCo stage gate process from ideation to concept development and validation
  • Partner with R&D and Supply Chain to develop product prototypes
  • Lead a broad, cross-functional team to develop the business proposition and financial feasibility for innovation projects
  • Monitor marketplace for competitive activity and trend spotting
The role is highly cross-functional in nature, which requires the ability to work in teams and manage multiple points of communication seamlessly. Specifically, the Marketing Innovation Manager will interface with internal team members from Product and Packaging R&D, Operations, Strategy & Insights, Supply Chain, Finance, Brand Teams, Customer and Channel leads, as well as directly with key customer personnel.


  • Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate Degree
  • Preferred: MBA with a concentration in Marketing

  • Creative thinker and problem solver with a passion for innovation
  • Strong self-motivator, capable of setting an agenda, soliciting alignment and actualizing goals.
  • A minimum of 5 years prior experience (if Undergrad degree only) OR 2 years of prior experience (if Advanced degree) in marketing, innovation, strategy, or consumer/customer promotions preferred
  • Excellent multi-tasking, project management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively influence an extended organization
