Adecco's Direct Hire recruiting team seeks an outgoing, health & wellness-centric Marketing Manager with 5+ years' experience in promotional marketing, product marketing & overseeing a marketing team for our client, a growing global consumer product brand in the foods industry with local hiring needs in the South Bay (Torrance, CA). As the Marketing Manager, you will manage external PR & marketing agency relationships, attend trade shows and spearhead all existing & new marketing initiatives for the brand's US presence.
*Responsible for overseeing the training, evaluating and reviewing of subordinate employees; directs, trains and evaluates staffs to develop, monitor and control work activities.
*Manages and directs the whole department to ensure the smooth workflows.
*Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns.
*Develops and routinely updates a department plan on how to best obtain activities with management.
*Establishes department related budget and controls costs with budgetary limits to achieve the targets.
*Keeps strategic budget planning and its process control through the approval process with Company management.
*Monitors and controls staff expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
*Provides direction and example for interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
*Reviews and approves staff expense reports on ongoing basis.
*Prepares periodic department reports to management.
*Reviews and maintains timesheet for subordinate non-exempt employees.
*Manages work activities of the Department and ensures that the target dates/number/goal are met for each project.
*Participates in necessary trainings and trains subordinate employees.
*Confers with management to plan business objectives and corporate strategies, to develop organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between divisions and departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives.
*Identifies market potential, establishes pricing and market strategies, estimates potential sales, introduces product to market, and manages mature products through phase-out.
*Coordinates and directs the design, development, and execution of product packaging to ensure consistency with the corporate objectives and brand strategy.
*Suggests management in creating new marketing materials and works with designer, other agencies to make new designs and contents.
*Develops, maintains and updates product specifications.
*Prepares new product announcements for customers and consumers, emphasizing salable features of the products.
*Works with PR agencies for the strategies to implement the new and alternative ways to promote its products.
*Plans, coordinates, implements and finalizes all phases of product development projects according to the specifications and deadlines.
*Plans and coordinates development and communication of information designed to keep the public informed of the Company�s philosophy, social engagements, concepts and products.
*Develops, prioritizes, and implements tactical project plans, including promotion programs, store events, trade show activities, and etc.
*Promotes company products to consumers by collaborating with the Marketing Dept. in various outreach projects.
*Coordinates development and production of promotional and collateral materials; maintains inventory of photo work, artwork, articles, tradeshow booth, and brochures and maintains marketing literature files.
*Researches and analyzes competitors and their products.
*Conducts research on and maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting packaged food product development and distribution in the U.S., and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.
*Prepares reports, including charts and graphs, and presents recommendations for action plans to the Management.
*Prepares monthly activity reports, project status reports and meeting minutes; submits them to the Management in a timely manner.
* Coordinates the creative design, development, and execution of the company�s website presence to ensure the highest possible quality and effectiveness in targeting both corporate customers and general public.
*Manages monitors and creates contents for all social media channels to engage with and grow the online community and customer base.
*Proofreads blog posts, newsletters, press releases and website copies.
*Researches and reaches out to popular influencers and bloggers for brand collaborations.
*Keeps all SNS (FB, Twitter, G+, News Section, Newsletter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc) up-to-date at all times.
*Suggests ideas to improve the website to the management, and keeps it maintained and up-to-date: Analyzes and improves the website's SEO.
*Plans, develops and coordinates materials for tradeshows.
*Assist setting up trade show booth and preparing shipment of equipment and materials.
*Assist coordinating tradeshows in all aspects and attends tradeshows when necessary.
*Report all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
*Maintains good communication with management, office staff members and outside contacts.
Qualifications & Education Experience :
*Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Related experience of five years in marketing & marketing team management.
