The Brand & Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the execution of consumer demand generation strategies for OneTouch branded products in the US market.  Key focus areas include the ongoing management of, OneTouch US social media properties, consumer database communications and paid media creative development.  The Brand & Digital Marketing Manager will also be a key stakeholder in shaping consumer go-to-market plans for new SMBG and digital solutions launches, pull through of OneTouch global initiatives, as well as providing ongoing US base business support.  The role involves significant collaboration with internal stakeholders from WorldWide Marketing, US cross-channel marketing and IT as well as external media and creative agencies.

This role will have two broad focus areas:


Owned media management

  • :  Serve as the local subject matter expert for, managing updates to branding, content and functionality while ensuring the site delivers a seamless user experience.  Critical success factors for this role include excellent communication with IT team to ensure timely updates/fixes,  close collaboration with WW Marketing leads on new global initiatives and ability to guide content strategy to support local commercial priorities .

  • As the US social media SPOC, the incumbent will ensure that OneTouch platforms are used to enhance the local commercial communication strategies.  Work closely with agency and/or channel partners to design creative and ensure timely deployment.  Monitor and interpret results to optimize creative for future deployment.

  • :  Manage the US consumer database email communication at point of meter acquisition, registration/onboarding and ongoing engagement.  Work closely with cross-functional marketing partners to manage deployment of email linked to payer or retail customer marketing initiatives.  Coordinate with WWM to gathering results/insights from email deployments in order to optimize future email programs.

    Paid media execution & Measurement

  • : The incumbent will work closely with WWM team and local creative & media agencies to ensure the successful development, deployment and monitoring of campaign assets.  


  • :  The incumbent will be a key stakeholder in product launch and IMC media planning, providing guidance on media and creative requirements to drive desired business objectives.  In addition, s/he will provide guidance to cross-channel teams working with customer accounts on digital marketing initiatives.


  • : Guide media decisions and future planning with insights gathered from program reporting.  Work with media planning agency to identify cost effective means for ongoing measurement of tactics against core objectives.   Ensure appropriate analytics and tagging in place to drive in market optimization where possible. 


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • and social media management

  • Management of OneTouch database patient communications and related activities

  • Creative development activities supporting product launch and sustaining business (brief creation, creative reviews, approvals)

  • Commercial planning activities including product launch input, yearly IMC media planning, budget planning and ongoing management

  • Cross-channel digital program support and other sustaining duties.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules (to accommodate internal and external meetings with east-coast partners and European-based partners) and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work with a high level of day to day autonomy / independence.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; preferred areas of study are Marketing, Business, Technology

  • A minimum of eight (8) years related experience in healthcare and/ or medical device industry is required

  • A minimum of 5 years digital marketing experience is preferred. Includes: experience managing a website, email marketing, social media platforms and other external paid media is required

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience managing a budget is required

  • Proven experience in collaborating with commercial colleagues to develop robust business plans is requiredIndependent and innovative thinker with demonstrated ability to excel in cross functional teams is required

  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, embrace ambiguity and uncertainty yet continue to make forward progress with appropriate focus, spirit and disciplines is required

  • Core marketing skills (i.e. branding, messaging, budget and agency management) are required

  • Strong communications skills are required

  • Demonstrated leadership without authority capability is required

  • Clear understanding of ROI analysis and forecasting is preferred

  • Experience supporting a Diabetes Care Franchise product is strongly preferred

  • This position requires up to 5% domestic travel

  • This position will be preferably in Wayne, PA or Fremont, CA
