The Manager of Payer Marketing will support the North America (NA) Payer development sales team to protect and grow our position with Commercial and Government Payers, health plans and employers.  Core responsibilities will include:  Development of JJDCC Value presentations, partnership with the Payer Development Account teams to secure OneTouch® Formulary Position, pull through strategy and execution, development of programs and messaging to maximize OneTouch® Share growth on Health Plan and Medicare across all channels, development of new product launch payer presentations and strategy, management of retail co-pay buy down programs and management of PT Marketing Manager.  This position will also support the CA Payer team in the development of materials to obtain/protect formulary with CA Payers. This position requires extensive collaboration with Health Economics, Professional Education, Sales Finance, Sales Training and Marketing departments. 

Additional responsibilities: 

  • Payer Value Creation including new product launch / value beyond price

  • Payer Pull Through Programs and Messaging including Employer Strategy

  • Budget Management including FOC Meter budget with DCL

  • Vendor Management for payer claims, collateral, data etc.

  • Management of Commercial Payer APD/Talent Development

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is an asset

  • A minimum of seven (7) of related experience in Business, Healthcare, Health Economics, Sales, Project Management, Software or Marketing is required

  • Broad Payer / B2B Payer Marketing experience is required

  • Proven experience conducting formal and ad-hoc presentations to cross-functional partners both internally and externally is required

  • Agency Management is an asset

  • Proven strategic analytical skills is an asset

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Proven new product launch experience is required

  • Pharmaceutical / Medical Device Sales/Marketing is preferred

  • Medical Device & Diagnostic category experience is preferred

  • This position requires limited travel for high level customer meetings: 10% domestic and international travel

  • This position will be a remote based position
