Marketing Operations Consultant-Round Rock, TX

As a part of the Global Support & Deployment Product Group, the Marketing Operations Consultant will manage the Enterprise, Client and Channel supportand deployment services offerings. This is a critical role in the fast paced commercial business that requires strong analytical skills, quick think-on-your-feet skills, and extremely strong communication skills along with the ability to work cross functionally with different teams. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong balance across these skills sets.

Responsibilities
Utilizes knowledge of all market, price and cost inputs across all product lines to create
and managebusiness models and drive change
Working across multiple teams,optimizes product offerings throughout entire life cycle
Identifies, evaluates and recommends opportunities consistent with product line objectives
Socializes any business changes across multiple organizations
Organizational expert within defined subject area
Integrates deep subject matter expertise with industry experience and business goals and
strategy
Understands impact of emerging business trends and their implications for Dell and the
customer
Support the portfolios with proactive research, including industry and market analysis from media and analyst community resources.
Influences executive management regarding appropriate actions
Provides leadership and ongoing mentoring to the team
Presents recommendations to senior leadership team
Leads large projects within the group and at times leads cross-functional projects

Requirements

Requires 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 8+ years with a Masters degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Outstanding customer focus and critical thinking skills
Outstanding financial and quantitative skills
Experience with support and deployment services
Experience with market and competitive intelligence
Experience with pricing and costing
