Helps support overall business strategy by working directly with Partners and other staff as well as marketing resources nationally and locally to build marketing plans/strategies and tactics. The Sr. Associate will be engaged in development and execution of a wide variety of marketing programs and campaigns including events, email, direct mail, thought leadership, sponsorships, trade shows, proposals and sales support, to drive marketing plans and sales initiatives. Includes oversight and facilitation of internal processes, project management, and reporting.
Participates in the development of marketing campaigns, materials and programs for assigned industries and services including events, email, direct mail, trade shows, and sponsorships
Aligns programs / campaigns with marketing and business strategy focusing on relevancy of positioning, key messages, and adherence brand identity guidelines and necessary compliance and legal requirements.
Identifies and recommends ways to improve and position RSM businesses using various channels to achieve objectives.
In support of sales efforts, actively engages with industry teams to drive growth and achieve business objectives locally and / or nationally
Proactively identifies and executes on team needs including researching industry issues, contacts or company (target) information
Manages implementation of programs including design and coordination of all program elements
Updates and coordinates with administrative professional’s database of target contacts
Proactively follow up with practice team members to facilitate action and coordinates with administrative professionals on preparation of growth team meeting agendas and action items
Builds relationships and coordinates sponsorships with key industry, trade and other organizations / associations and publications
Proactively establishes and develops relationship with key individuals
Recommends and implements programs to leverage relationships
Coordinates with national public relations efforts and uses relationships to position RSM with publications and organizations gaining coverage in local and/or industry publications
As appropriate, develops press releases and positions with local and / or industry publications
Assists in the preparation of proposals and presentations in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) as part of new business development initiatives:
Works with SME's and leverage national proposal database and national proposal team for relevant content
Conduct prospect and client research
Ensure compliance with all firm brand, regulatory and compliance standards
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to learn other platforms such as eCRM
Strong business writing
