The Sr. Marketing Manager will support the development and execution of brand-building marketing plans with aligned tactics for BLINCYTO. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for partnering with oncology matrix teams to lead launch planning and execution for an anticipated indication for the BLINCYTO brand.
Lead BLINCYTO launch planning and execution for an anticipated new indication for BLINCYTO in B-Cell ALL.
Support promotional strategy development in partnership with matrix team
Partner with matrix team to develop aligned, brand building tactics for personal and non-personal execution (Sales, Regional Marketing Managers and MCM)
Support US labeling work in partnership with brand director
Lead DSE development and execution
Lead speaker program content development
Lead S1/S2 (bi-annual sales meetings) planning and execution
Partner with brand MCM lead to develop and execute innovative non-personal tactics to drive brand performance
Partner with internal staff and sales leadership to ensure activities are aligned to brand goals, strategies, growth drivers, and key messages (compliant with MAC guidance)
Collaborate with Sales Training on the development of sales training materials and sales training plan.
Effectively support the management of strategic investment of the promotional budget and vendor management (performance of ad agency and other promotional agencies).
Partner with MCM brand point to manage online agency to develop and execute online media and creative plans.
Manage outside vendors and agencies to execute promo projects.
Work with market research within BAI (Business Analysis & Info) group to develop and execute research and measurement testing needed to develop strategy, programs, and measure expected returns/success.
Work with medical, legal and regulatory groups to translate clinical data into compelling promotional messaging.
Manage significant budgets and closely monitor performance to ensure cost effective delivery of all programs
Work closely with Corporate Affairs to integrate public relations tactics into promotions plan
Agency and vendor management, and matrix management across Amgen's commercial, medical, legal, and regulatory enterprises.
Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing and/or sales management experience
OR Master's degree and 8 years of marketing and/or sales/sales management experience
OR Bachelor's degree and 10 years of marketing and/or sales/sales management experience
OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing and/or sales/sales management experience
8+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience with strong marketing & management skills including developing market strategies (segmentation, positioning, key messages, etc.), executing tactics, and responsibility for revenue generation.
Successful track record in marketing and managing advertising agencies
Successful HCP marketing experience.
Ability to understand, interpret and communicate commercial and competitive implications of complex technical/clinical/regulatory data.
Ability to work confidently in a cross-functional team (e.g., Medical, Medical Communication, Regulatory, Legal, DTC, and Reimbursement Marketing) and build effective internal partnerships.
Thorough knowledge of and experience in working with the promotions legal/regulatory environment including first hand MAC experience and knowledge of Compliance SOPs.
Strong leadership skills, including ability influence teams with diverse backgrounds.
Strong competitive mindset, including the ability to champion ideas, make decisions and focus on results
Excellent written, analytical and oral communication skills.
Strong business judgment and emotional intelligence.
Experience effectively working with and leading cross-functional teams
