The North America Beverages Franchise Marketing team is responsible for leveraging our powerhouse brands and our fantastic assets to drive marketing programs with our largest independent bottlers. The franchise marketing team gives strong commercial experience and provides the critical experience of mastering franchise bottler Go-To-Market.

The Sr Marketing Manager will drive the marketing agenda for the independent bottlers in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes regions. This person will leverage PepsiCo's powerhouse beverage brands (such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Lipton, and Aquafina) to deliver breakthrough marketing programs to grow brand health and drive volume in their regions. The majority of the work will focus on creating marketing programs and media opportunities for New York City, leveraging powerhouse sports and entertainment assets. This position must lead the bottlers in creating the marketing strategy, utilizing all levers of the marketing toolbox, and executing the plan flawlessly. Also, this individual will lead key checkpoints in the Annual Operating Plan process with their bottlers.

  • Lead the marketing agenda for the Northeast, MidAtlantic and Great Lakes franchise bottlers
  • Leverage national programming created by brands, and nuance the plans based on the local context
  • Activate partnerships with leading sports, entertainment and lifestyle assets, such as the New York Yankees, New York Giants and Jets, and Jones Beach
  • Manage Agency relationships to deliver breakthrough programs and creative that drive unique point of difference for Brands within the market or region.
  • Influence franchise bottler alignment on strategic innovation
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Franchise Sales to lead meetings and feedback through the Annual Operating Plan process
  • Create processes that drive efficiency for the organization and for our bottlers
  • Communicate all plans and key dates (ordering timelines, funding) to the bottlers
  • Collaborate with brand teams and bottlers to create programs that drive brand equity and revenue


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • A minimum of 7 years prior Marketing experience (if undergrad degree only) OR 5 years of prior Marketing experience (if Advanced degree)

  • Prior Brand, Field or Shopper Marketing experience within consumer packaged goods
  • Strong team leadership and talent development skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong collaboration, project management and influencing skills within a matrix environment
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required with the ability to partner at all levels of the organization
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal/external senior leaders
  • Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time
  • Prior or current collaboration with Franchise system and understanding of the bottling partners
