Reporting to the Enterprise Data Governance & Quality Leader, the Master Data Governance Process Engineer will be responsible for consulting with internal stakeholders to implement the data governance program and conducting data quality certifications in service to delivery of the Intel Strategy. You will work with a global, cross-functional project teams to ensure the program is implemented to drive high levels of data quality by establishing governance organizations, processes that manage the life cycle of master data, and assist with technology implementations.
This role requires a balance of technical and business knowledge related to master data governance and the process automation industry. It also requires personal skills to work effectively with a diverse group of people from a variety of disciplines within, and external to, Schneider Electric.
The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, have the ability to lead global teams, support an on-going business case that measures outcomes post implementation, drives change across a diverse organization, effectively identifies, assesses, and manages program risks, as well as eliminates roadblocks as they arise.
Technical Experience And Knowledge Required
In depth knowledge of data governance / process automation systems.
Experience working as a program manager as part of a project team implementing hardware and/or software products
Strong presentation and analysis skills
Extensive change management and team building experience
Process engineering experience (Lean Six Sigma)
Knowledge of Schneider Products, Services, and Operational processes (desired).
Performance Skills Required:
Ability to think strategically and promote the Intel Strategy and Enterprise Data Governance vision.
Strong communication skills, the ability to work with global remote/virtual teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail: Planning, monitoring and control.
Ability to think analytically, focus on solutions, decisiveness and demonstrated initiative.
An in-depth understanding of data management concepts
Experience with implementation related to data governance / data quality tools.
Ability to act as a liaison between technical and business leaders.
Demonstrates a minimum 5 years experience as a project management/program manager (preferably has managed at least 2 SAP end-to-end implementations).
Ability to assess operational business environments and improve outcomes through work process redesign
Ability to perform data quality audits against defined criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Systems or Business Administration Degree
Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma experience
