Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for moving products from location to location both physically and systematically. Load and unload trailers in an accurate, safe, and prompt manner to fulfill customer orders within specified time frame. Ensure quality product is shipped and received incompliance with CCNA quality standards. Process, interpret and complete shipping/ receiving documents such as packing slips and bill of ladings. Record goods receipts of finished goods as they are manufactured. Inspect according to the CCNA quality standards reporting any quality issues as they arise.

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalency required.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to pass CCNA Forklift truck license certification.
  • Able to demonstrate skill in safely and efficiently driving forklifts carrying up to 6000 lbs. from heights of 1 to 30 throughout the facility and offloading/unloading trailers.
  • Able to demonstrate skill in safely and efficiently driving 6,000 + lb. forklifts carrying up to 8,500 lbs. from heights of 1 to 30 throughout the facility and unloading and loading trailers.
  • Ability to recognize material and product defects, and rectify in accordance with policy.
  • Able to pass CCNA Forklift truck license certification.
  • Able to become JQM qualified within required timeframe as determined by Manager.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Able to perform duties in areas of extreme temperature differences. Including a chilled warehouse with temperature of 34 degrees.
  • Able to work extended hours
  • Able to physically lift material 50 lbs. a distance of 10 or more.
  • Must be able to work weekends/ overtime as required.
  • Must comply with all Safety requirements including, but not limited to Chemical Handling Procedures,
