Summary: This position counts and verifies freezer carts that are in the in-process freezer and performs the packaging out of frozen product into replenishment cartons from the in-process freezer for the Galaxy Ceph/Non Ceph and Penicillin operations. This position also performs area line clearances, and all related documentation (paper based and POMS), as well as maintains packout equipment, freezer carts, fork lift truck, related equipment, and area housekeeping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor product exposure times and document process flow as required
  • Count, verify and removal of freezer carts from the in-process freezer
  • Packing out of frozen product into replenishment cartons
  • Perform area line clearances and all related documentation (paper based and POMS)
  • Maintain packout equipment, freezer carts, forklift truck and related equipment
  • Maintain area housekeeping
  • Responsible for maintaining the adequate amount of supplies
  • Must packout a minimum of 84 freezer carts a shift when working with another person or as a team
  • Operate a walkie rider and reach truck
  • Required to maintain attendance in accordance with the RLD Attendance Policy
  • Required on occasion to perform the functions of the Material Handler I position
  • Mandatory overtime is required


Work Environment: Work in cold environment for 8 hours, work in temperatures between 5 o C to below -25 o C, push carts weighing up to 750 pounds.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, experience in GMP Mfg.
