Position Summary:
CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Receiving/Inventory Clerk in our Materials Management Department in our newest Flower Mound TX specialty pharmacy. In this high impact shipping position, you will positively impact the lives of others. As a Material Coordinator you’ll be working in the backend of the pharmacy, you would be responsible for ordering, maintaining supply of inventory, and replenishing all supplies within the pharmacy department. You would assist in expediting backorders and emergency orders to ensure critical shortages are resolved. You would also work as a liaison to the pharmacy team to promote standardization and utilization efforts. You would be a resource for product and vendor information and be involved in communicating with vendors by attending regular vendor conference calls. You would also assist the pharmacy supervisors in maintaining appropriate supply records, charges and inventory control, and help with product specification and selection.

It’s critical that you are knowledgeable of maintaining inventory supplies, current pharmacy supplies usage trends, and purchasing needs of pharmacy department.

Responsibilities:

· Receive, distribute and maintenance of all pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products
· Filling pharmacy orders and maintaining complete and accurate dispensing records. You will be responsible for receiving, slotting, storing medication and non-drug supplies.
· Enter information into the appropriate systems
· Preparing all items for distribution and placing them in the proper location on the production floor and cycle counting all inventories items.
· Overstock pharmaceutical items as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Current Texas Pharmacy Technician license or Trainee License
6 months of pharmacy technician experience
1+ years of experience in a windows based system
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours
Experience working in a high volume environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Able to understand and apply basic computer skills and record data accurately.
Understands Pharmaceutical calculations.
Must have understanding of basic pharmacy law and protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external departments.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Has ability to adapt and change with pace of work flow.
Ability to operate a forklift
Excellent organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently
Excellent problem solving skills

Education:
HS diploma or equivalent
