This
Pharmacy Operations MBA internship offers you the opportunity to help identify
areas of opportunity impacting over 100,000 front line pharmacy and field teams
across more than 9,000 retail locations related to process improvement,
customer service and business growth. You will have the power to develop and
deliver solutions aimed at making significant changes that will positively
impact our pharmacy and field team as well as our millions of patients.
MBA
interns in Pharmacy Operations may have the opportunity to:
· Asses a business opportunity with specific recommendations
that will enable the leadership team to make critical go/no go decisions
· Design and implement a retail pilot to further inform design
choices and validate business case assumptions
· Learn about solution definition, testing, and implementation
of new processes and services needed to support the future growth of the
company
· Scope, plan, and perform quantitative analyses that will
yield critical answers to the questions at hand
· Collect qualitative input and feedback through store visits
and surveys
· Create and develop cross-functional relationships across the
enterprise

Required Qualifications:
*Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program.
*Availability to work full time for

*Structured & Logical Thinking: The
ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop
strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and/or
measure success
*Analytical Rigor: Proven capability
conducting and managing quantitative portfolio and growth analysis
*Powerful Communication: The ability to
communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of constituents,
both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization.
*Team Leadership: A highly developed
ability to manage, develop, and mentor more junior team members to successfully
evaluate complex business opportunities
*Initiative: Ability to think creatively,
be a self-starter, and to develop and present potential solutions with
enthusiasm
*Minimum 2 years full-time work experience required

Preferred Qualifications:
*Strong Interest in healthcare and/or process
improvement.
*Experience using data analytic tools (Advanced Excel and SQL).
*Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).

Education:
*Candidates must be enrolled in a two year MBA program
