MEAT CLERK

Meat Clerks are responsible for wrapping and weighing fresh and processed meats, merchandising (stocking and rotating) of all fresh and processed meats and maintaining correct retails, shelf life codes and fares in scale system. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining proper sanitation standards
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of nomenclature of fresh and processed meats
  • Previous experience with automatic wrapping and hand wrapping machines
  • Prior experience working in the meat and deli department preferred

Minimum Age Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
