Codman Neuro, a member of the Cardiac and Specialty Solutions Group within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for an Engineer I located in Raynham, MA.

The Engineer I will be part of design and development team for new and existing product development as well as sustaining engineering across all three CNS franchises: Hydrocephalus, Operative Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery Critical Care
  • Play a technical role for engineering activities related to existing product modifications and upgrades,
  • Plan and conduct design/development of engineering assignments including product design verification and validation,
  • Estimate work schedule to meet completion dates and technical specifications,
  • Demonstrate technical and analytical skills,
  • Provide support for field-based Sales Team and other Commercial partners as needed,
  • Partner with major stakeholders from Marketing, QA, RA, and Manufacturing,
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support existing and new product development activities,
  • Attend industry tradeshows, professional education events, and other company-sponsored events to provide product training and support to customers as needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, with preference for Mechanical, Bio-Mechanical Engineering
  • Up to 2 years of engineering experience is preferred
  • Experience in the medical device industry is preferred
  • Experience in laboratory setting is required
  • Familiarity with Six sigma is a plus
