Job Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, design, monitor, and conduct independent system level reliability qualifications and experiments (DoE)
  2. Through reliability research and analyses develop reliability estimates of complex systems and present findings to upper management
  3. Cooperate with other departments in meeting system Reliability Growth requirements and evaluations (Team Player)
  4. Determine best design approaches and parameters to meet long-term system reliability goals
  5. Responsible for determining Best Known Methods (BKMs) for estimating and evaluating the reliability of highly complex systems and engineering changes and presenting findings to management
  6. Collaboratively assist others in the selection of best component and system test methods to achieve the overall reliability targets
  7. Be capable of acquiring and maintaining reliability information, materials, processes, and engineering techniques
  8. Through data acquisition and analysis prepare comprehensive reports
  9. Perform system DFMEAs and FTA as required
  10. Make decisions with limited data


Job Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work independently and develop non-standard approaches to work
  • Must be able to effectively communicate (written and oral) decisions to management and peers
  • Intermediate understanding of Weibull and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD)
  • Reliability Certifications: ASQ CRE, CQE or SRE are pluses

Qualifications:
Education
  • BSME/BSEE or MSME/MSEE or equivalent required, Phd is a plus
  • New College Graduate - Must Show Proof of Degree
