Summer internship (May-August 2018) available for undergraduate or graduate student of mechanical engineering. Position will give the student an opportunity to work with experienced mechanical and electrical engineers in the areas of new product development, current product support, or product cost optimization for North American model elevator systems. Assignments may include database analysis of installed product data, cost estimating of current and future product designs, development and documentation of crucial engineering processes, and design of elevator parts to meet marketing and cost targets. Qualification:
- Solid mechanical engineering analysis skills, thorough understanding of Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to excel in a team-based environment
- Working knowledge of ProEngineer is helpful, but not required
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering in process
- Completion of sophomore year required
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
