A Mechanical Project Engineer job in Indianapolis,IN is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology. This position will be responsible for leading and directing the activities engaged in research and development of mechanical and electrical commercial locksets and hardware. This will also include participating with representatives from engineering, project management, manufacturing, and marketing in project definition. Mechanical Project Engineer job responsibilities include: • Assist the Project Manager and Project Lead in project justification activities • Monitor and report project status, and develop contingency plans to assure that product development tasks are completed within time and budget constraints • Participate with electrical, software and manufacturing engineers in the integrating of mechanical and electronic hardware with software for electromechanical product designs • Create & review design concepts and detailed designs to assure compliance with product requirements, design specifications and compliance standards QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree is preferred • Experience in Commercial or Residential Door lockset and hardware design and processing preferred • Advanced level of 3D CAD modeling, detailing, and Finite Element Analysis required, Creo Preferred • Working knowledge of CAD Data Management systems, Windchill preferred • Minimum 5 years work experience in engineering If you are interested in this Mechanical Project Engineer job in Indianapolis, IN then please click APPLY NOW.
