LinkedIn is seeking an experienced Media Events Technician to join the Media Productions Team. This person will help support our Sunnyvale office in the Event Support domain. This person will be responsible for daily operations, support, maintenance and successful delivery of high profile live events. The ideal candidate will be able to think outside the box and be enthusiastic towards innovative iterations to our workflows.
Responsibilities: Provide technical support for meetings, conferences, classes and corporate-wide broadcasts. Provide user assistance and training with operation of multimedia systems. Interact with staff, faculty and guests. Perform analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex audio / video hardware problems and implement corrective solutions Conduct regular inspections of Production Facilities Maintain documentation of Audio Visual (AV) / Video Conference (VC) maintenance, failures, removal and installation Maintain inventory of Production equipment Flexible schedule preferred Travel to other LinkedIn offices, once a week approx.
Basic Qualifications: 3+ years in A/V, VC, video production, video conferencing, webcasting, streaming, staging events or related experience. 1+ years of Live production experience (internal or external). 3+ years of experience in HD video, video switching, cameras, media content management and signal processing. 1+ years of stage mixing experience. BA/BS Degree or equivalent practical experience.

Video conferencing experience (Cisco) Certified Technology Specialist Certification
