LinkedIn is seeking an experienced Media Operations Technician to join the Media Productions Team. Working closely with our Live Production, Video Production and Engineering teams, you will help support our largest scale, high profile live events and video production shoots hosted in our state of the art production facilities throughout our Sunnyvale and San Francisco campuses (home location will be Sunnyvale). The primary responsibilities will revolve around performing as an exceptional technical operator of all production equipment, as well as work with clients on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional customer service presence always striving to leave our clients delighted whenever working with Media Productions on any project.
Provide pre, prod and post production support for meetings, conferences, classes and corporate-wide broadcasts. Provide user assistance and training with operation of multimedia systems. Daily interaction with staff, faculty and guests. Operation of production equipment in a live broadcast environment (Video Switcher, Video Router, Audio Console, Encoders, Cameras - Manned and Robotic, Lighting Console, Video Conferencing Codecs, A/V Playout). Operation of production equipment in a studio environment (Video Switch, Audio Console / Field Recorder, Cameras, Lighting). Basic post production editing tasks (Trims, cuts, transitions, bumpers, lower 3rds, audio mix / clean up, platform posting). Operate in the role of a grip, stagehand or PA depending on production needs. Assist with equipment setup and testing (Live and Studio). Assist with inventory management. Metrics tracking for all productions. Documentation and other administration on occasion. Ability to work extended or non-traditional hours. Travel to other LinkedIn offices in the Bay Area, twice a month approx. Occasional global travel, twice per year approx.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a Live Production and or Studio Production environment operating production equipment (specific equipment listed below). 1+ years of post production experience, editing, graphics, audio mixing, export and posting of content. (specific software listed below). BA/BS Degree or equivalent practical experience.
